आप आये दिन चोरी की घटनाएं सुनते ही होंगे मगर दिल्ली से सटे यूपी के गाजियाबाद जिले में चोरी का एक हैरान करने वाला मामला सामने आया है। गाजियाबाद के कौशांबी बस अड्डे के पास बनी वर्कशॉप से चोरों नेरोडवेज में अनुबंध पर लगी हुई बस को ही चुरा लिया।खबर के अनुसार दो दिन पहले रिपेयरिंग के लिए आई बस संदिग्ध हालात में चोरी हो गई। सोमवार को यह बस कटी हालत में मेरठ के खरखौदा में मिली। पुलिस ने बस के पार्ट बरामद कर मौके से 2 लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
पुलिस के मुताबिक, दिल्ली निवासी नरेंद्र ने रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई है कि उनकी बस रोडवेज में अनुबंध पर लगी हुई है, जिसे उनका चालक चलाता था, जिसे उनका चालक 29 जनवरी को बस में कुछ खराबी आने के चलते बस को कौशांबी बस अड्डे के पास बनी वर्कशॉप पर ले गया था। इस दौरान पहले से ही रिपेयरिंग की लाइन में और कई बसें खड़ी होने के चलते चालक बस में ही चाबी लगी छोड़कर खाना खाने चला गया। जब वह खाना खाकर रात 9 बजे लौटा तो बस अपने स्थान पर नहीं थी। काफी तलाशने के बाद भी जब बस का कुछ पता नहीं चला तो चालक ने तुरंत बस मालिक को सूचना दी जिसके बाद फिर बस मालिक नरेंद्र ने इसकी रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई।
कार्यवाहक थाना प्रभारी लिंकरोड बताते हैं कि “रिपोर्ट दर्ज होने के बाद से ही चोरी हुई बस की तलाश कराई जा रही थी, लेकिन बस मेरठ में कटी हालत में बरामद हो गई है”। बहरहाल पूरे मामले में जांच की जा रही है।
चालक के अनुसार गाडी खड़ी करने की जगह और वर्कशॉप के बाहर आदि कई स्थान के आसपास के कई सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज लिंकरोड पुलिस के द्वारा खंगाली गई, लेकिन किसी भी कैमरे में बस नजर नहीं आ रही। कार्यवाहक थाना प्रभारी ने बताया कि हो सकता है रात के समय अंधेरा होने के चलते बस का नंबर किसी कैमरे में नहीं आया हो।
वहीँ बस मालिक के मुताबिक वर्कशॉप के बाहर से बस चोरी हो गई और रोडवेज डिपो के अधिकारी अंजान बने हुए हैं। जबकि रोडवेज डिपो की अनुबंधित बस चोरी होना अपने आप में बड़ी बात है। एआरएम महेश चंद कमल ने बताया कि डिपो में काफी बसें अनुबंधित हैं, कौन सी बस चोरी हुई है यह बता पाना अभी संभव नहीं है। पूरे मामले की जांच की जाएगी।

एसपी सिटी द्वितीय ज्ञानेंद्र सिंह ने बताया कि रोडवेज की अनुबंधित बस चोरी हुई थी, जिसकी रिपोर्ट दर्ज कर तलाश कराई जा रही थी। पता चला कि मेरठ के खरखोदा थाने की पुलिस ने उक्त बस को कटी हालत में बरामद कर दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार भी कर लिया है।
