वडोदरा. शहर में पिछले दिनों तीनों से हुई बारिश के बाद बाढ़ के हालात दिखाई देने लगे थे। अब इसके 48 घंटे बाद भी आधा शहर पानी में डूबा हुआ है। देर रात से विश्वामित्री नदी का जल स्तर घटने लगा है। पर लोग अभी भी पानी और बिजली के लिए तरस रहे हैं। निचले इलाकों की हालत बहुत ही बदतर है।
पानी उतरना शुरू
शुक्रवार की सुबह 9 बजे तक विश्वामित्री नदी का जल स्तर 33 फीट दर्ज किया गया था। उधर आजवा डेम का जल स्तर 212.20 फीट हो गया है। शहरा से पानी अब उतरने लगा है। परंतु निचले इलाकों का पानी कम नहीं हो पाया है। वहां रहने वालों की मुश्किलों में कोई कमी नहीं देखी गई है।
शाम तक शहर उबर जाएगा
इसके अलावा रावपुरा, कालाघोड़ा, कारेलीबाग समेत कई इलाकों में पानी उतर गया है। शाम तक बाढ़ की स्थिति से शहर उबर जाएगा, इसकी पूरी संभावना है। दूसरी ओर मौसम विभाग ने अभी और बारिश की चेतावनी दी है, जिससे लोगों की हालत फिर खराब हो सकती है।
स्टेशन इलाके में आर्मी तैनात
रेल्वे स्टेशन और बस डिपो में फंसे हुए लोगों को आर्मी के जवानों ने निकाल लिया है। इस समय भी वहां आर्मी के जवान तैनात हैं, जो हर पल हालात का जायजा ले रहे हैं।
