महेश नेगी की मुश्किलें में एक और इजाफा होता नजर आ रहा है। यह मामला पीड़िता के परिचित सिपाही हरिओम को विधायक निवास के फ्लैट 62 व 63 में तमंचा दिखा कर धमकी देने और पीड़िता के खिलाफ बयान देने को लेकर है।
वायरल ऑडियो में कथित सिपाही हरिओम कहता है कि कुछ दिन पहले भाजपा विधायक सुरेंद्र सिंह जीना का गनर दीपक हरिद्वार से हरिओम को देहरादून के विधायक निवास में लाता है।
यहां विधायक महेश नेगी अपने कुछ साथियों के साथ हरिओम पर पीड़िता को मनाने का दबाव डालते हैं। जब वह मना करता है तो उसकी खूब पिटाई होती है। फिर उसे पीड़िता के खिलाफ बोलने के लिए बार बार कुछ बातें सिखाई जाती है। फिर हरिओम का छह सात बार वीडियो बनाया जाता है। यह वीडियो देहरादून पुलिस के सीओ को दिया जाता है।

सिपाही हरिओम और पीड़िता के बीच बातचीत का कथित ऑडियो ।
वायरल ऑडियो के अनुसार सत्तापक्ष के विधायक की जोर जबरदस्ती से सिपाही हरिओम अभी तक डरा हुआ है। और उसने सारी कहानी पीड़िता को सुना दी। इस मामले में कथित तौर से भाजपा विधायक सुरेंद्र सिंह जीना के गनर दीपक का नाम भी सामने आ रहा है।
इस दहशत भरे माहौल के बाद सिपाही हरिओम सारी बातें पीड़िता को बताता है। यह भी कहता है कि विधायक महेश नेगी उसका नुकसान कर सकता है। वह अपने बहुत डरे होने की बात करता है।
वहीँ इस इस मामले पर अरुण मोहन जोशी (डीआईजी) कहते हैं कि —“ऑडियो वायरल होने कि बात संज्ञान में आयी है। अगर कोई दोबारा से बयान दर्ज करवानां चाहता है तो करा सकता है। अगर बयानों में विरोधाभास सामने आता
है तो सम्बंधित का पोलियोग्राफ टेस्ट कराया जायेगा। सिपाही बयान देने के लिए परमिशन लेकर आया था। इस सम्बन्ध में दून पुलिस ने कमांडेंट को पत्र भी लिखा था”
भले ही इस वाइरल ऑडियो की सच्चाई क्या है यह जांच का विषय हो मगर फिलवक्त तो यही लगता है कि महेश नेगी यौन प्रकरण में यह वायरल ऑडियो उनकी छवि को निश्चित रूप से नुकसान पहुंचाएगा।
