उत्तराखंड में बारिश को लेकर मौसम विभाग का अनुमान एक बार फिर सही साबित हुआ है। राज्य के कई जिलों में जहां अत्यंत भारी वर्षा जारी है ,वहीं उत्तरकाशी जिले के मांडव गांव में बादल फटने से घरों में मलबा घुस आया। उक्त के संदर्भ में उज्जेली (जिला उत्तरकाशी) में तैनात एसडीआरएफ के टीम प्रभारी , निरीक्षक जगदम्बा प्रसाद को डीडीएमओ, उत्तरकाशी द्वारा सूचित कराया गया कि पोस्ट से लगभग 3 की .मी. आगे गंगोरी रोड पर मांडव गांव में नाले से पानी आने पर गांव में कुछ व्यक्ति फंसे है । उक्त सूचना पर टीम तुरंत घटनास्थल हेतु रवाना हुई,जहां बादल फटने के कारण घरों में मलबा घुस आया था व दो महिलाओं व एक बच्ची का पता नहीं लग पा रहा था। एसडीआरएफ टीम द्वारा त्वरित रेस्क्यू कर कुछ लोगो को सकुशल बाहर निकाला गया व तीन शवो को मलबे से बाहर निकाला गया । मृत तीनों एक ही परिवार से थे जिनका विवरण निम्न है –
माधुरी देवी(उम्र 36) , पत्नी, देवानंद भट्ट
ऋतु देवी(उम्र 32),पत्नी दीपक भट्ट
तृष्वी (उम्र 3) , पुत्री ,दीपक भट्ट।
