त्रिवेंद्रम (केरल) के ग्रीन फील्ड क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में राजस्थान और उत्तराखंड के बीच चल रहे रणजी ट्रॉफी के मैच में उत्तराखंड ने अपने दूसरे मुकाबले में राजस्थान को 299 रनों से हरा दिया है।
उत्तराखंड ने राजस्थान टीम को जीत के लिए 455 रनों का लक्ष्य दिया था जिसके जवाब में राजस्थान की टीम अपनी दूसरी पारी में 155 रनों पर ढेर हो गई। बता दें कि रणजी ट्रॉफी 2021- 22 सीजन में उत्तराखंड की यह लगातार दूसरी जीत है।
उत्तराखंड की पहली पारी 337 रन के जवाब में राजस्थान की पारी 129 रन पर सिमट गयी थी, इस तरह उत्तराखंड क्रिकेट टीम को 208 रन की लीड मिली थी। इस तरह उत्तराखंड ने मैच पर अपनी पकड़ मजबूत बना ली थी। बुलंद हौसलों के साथ दूसरी पारी में उतरी उत्तराखंड की टीम ने दूसरी पारी में 246 रन बनाकर पारी को घोषित किया और 455 रन का पहाड़ जैसा लक्ष्य राजस्थान को दिया।
455 रनों से पार पाना राजस्थान के लिए मुमकिन न हो सका और इतने बड़े स्कोर का पीछा करते हुए राजस्थान की पारी 155 रनों पर ही पारी ढ़ेर हो गयी और वह लक्ष्य हासिल करने में नाकामयाब रही।
